Within the scope of action of the
COHEHRE Academy, a meeting has
been held early December 2009 in
Bournemouth for the planning of
two intensive programmes already
running through COHEHRE (ICHCI 1
and ICHCI 2).
It was a very
constructive meeting, where approximately 20 people from 12
different institutions discussed and
organised the implementation of
the two courses in 2010. The costs of
this meeting were covered by the
budgets of the intensive
programmes and the institutions
themselves.
Early January 2010 there was
another meeting in Helsinki for the
planning of a new intensive programme, for which there has
been a call for partners in the
previous newsletter. A new group
was formed and the application
form for this new intensive
programme in ‘Poverty and social
exclusion’ is well under way.
To incentivize new applications,
COHEHRE had contributed with the
payment of one night to each of
the participating members.
In February there will yet be another
meeting for the planning of a fourth
intensive programme on‘Community Mental Health’. This
meeting will take place in Nijmegen
and the aim is to have the
application ready to submit in
March 2010.
